Come explore world religions. Do you have friends or relatives who belong to a different world religion? Do you know people at work who see life through a different lens than you? This course is designed to help people understand world religions from a Christian perspective.

What is apologetics? It can be defined as the branch of theology that defends and gives proof of Christianity. It is a theological argument in support of or justification for Christian doctrine or faith. This course will examine various difficult biblical passages, the Bible as a whole, some amazing scientific discoveries and proofs of the Word of God, historical archaeology, and basic conundrums and questions with which Christians sometimes wrestle.

We are created in God's image, and God invites us to be co-workers with him. By developing and using the spiritual gifts God has given us, the tasks we perform when we work have eternal significance in themselves. We also have opportunities to interact with our co-workers, promote justice, and enjoy times of rest. The biblical doctrine of work is the gracious expression of creative energy of the Lord in the service of others to create shalom.

Matthew 3:11 says, “He (Jesus) will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” Do you need a new infusion of the fire of the Holy Spirit? This course will bring a fresh perspective of the nature and ministry of the Holy Spirit and how God impacts the Church and the lives of Christians.

What happened to the Apostles and other notable disciples? What are the facts, traditions, legends, and myths from this time period? This is the history of the early Church spanning from its origins to the Council of Chalcedon in 451 AD. Along with a general overview, special attention will be paid to the notable people, movements, miracles, creeds, and traditions that have created a rich heritage for the modern-day Church.

We are called to be the disciples and servants of Jesus. We are not the masters; we are the servants. Jesus is the Master. Each of us should seek for hearts of humility and to be faithful servants that do the bidding of our Lord. There is a great release that comes when we follow Jesus rather than trying to lead Him.

This course is an exploration of the true meaning of contentment and how we can incorporate it into our lives. We will investigate one of the greatest mysteries of modern Christian life: contentment. Contentment differs from happiness, and is not something you can implement in a day—it takes time, practice, and an awareness of the draining distractions that rob us of joy, satisfaction, gratitude, and trust. We will explore the life of Paul the Apostle to show how we can live a life of fulfillment no matter the circumstances.
